Even more interesting- Open this book up next to a School of the Americas manuals on intelligence. Kinda look the same.
I've studied this manual (not just read it)-- Here's an interesting drill-- find out what's in their library. I looked up all the war stories, all the the references I could find and tried to recreate what they held in their library to build this manual. Found out it's a pretty old library. Many of the pubs and the war stories are from the 1960s. Another interesting point-- most of the war stories told/given as examples demonstrated a failure of "the brother(s)" in his mission. And if you read careful enough you can even find indicators of the Al Qaeda's leadership personally writing some of the chapters. |
