Why thank you. Very busy but I've always stopped to read the news. I had to make myself not go to the forums because I knew I would get caught up in a discussion and not get anything done.
School started and I'm trying to start my consulting/trading biz in the currency market. Goal is that this school year will be my last. |

I have a few piasters (sp) as well as some dong from the good-old days – too bad the government is gone! I also have some money from Canada which seems to be worth less than the old P.

I have one Iraqi bill with Saddam on it and I used to have a handful of those yen coins with the holes in them. I think they were 50 yen. They went great on a small key chain.

Okay, since our posts are triggering these ads below, let me put my two cents in.
Do not buy Iraqi dinars from these people. If you can't buy the currency from a regular commodities broker, then who in the world are you going to sale them back to whenever they appreciate? A number of people have asked me about this (my friends know that I trade and I used to be a broker with Morgan Stanley) and this is what I tell them too. The Wall Street Journal did have a little write up in the OpEd section a day or two ago. But it was about the country's economy in general and the dinar as its measure. You might be able to buy some dinar from a local comm broker, but it's considered an exotic and may not be worth the trouble. But don't buy it online. |
