So this is it.. the Generals want more soldiers to kick Taliban butt, Obama wants to have credibility in the world Forum by seeing to be decisive about fixing things in the Mideast, Canada is pissed 'cause the other countries won't let their troops get dirty and we've got to lift the heavy loads, and NATO is losing face 'cause it talks big but walks like a pussycat. And the real reality is the only way to fix things there is to chase the bad guys, secure and hold the territory so you don't fight over the same ground all the time and, while holding things you fix stuff up and make the plain folks understand that they have a say in their own lives without the Taliban or others telling them what they can or cannot do..plus making sure that they understand the West will not become just as bossy in another way...

So, will Obama let the generals have more feet on the ground? will NATO get off its butt and let loose the Germans and others to actually do something? Will Canada be gutsy enough to stay on after 2011 with a combat option as well as training and reconstruction? [ which is vital and doesn't get the media play it should, even though it may be more important in the long run than just whacking 'towelheads' ]

Nobama will no sooner let war be war than to have a beer in the White house with our enmies in hopes that it will smooth things over. He will further it by not even having any type of sucurity protocalls met to ensue that all involved are safe. It will fail, and he will look like more of an idiot.
