I've said it a hundred times here but this time I mean it. Why bother to toss out a topic only to be made fun or to never engage in any form of anything anytime anyhow? I got 1200 pals on facebook and yet I take the time to come by here and it's like a dry fishing hole. Nobody is getting replies here anyhow, and if they do it's usually smug. If you think you got the last laugh here at my expense you haven't. I actually know most of these political dummies we all make fun of etc,.

mout.

Sorry to see this....again. Still haven't got it down pat yet I see. Reckon its a little more difficult for you to figure out how to engage in here. Just keep this in front of your brain housing...we are all military in here. We aren't exactly normal if you get my drift. Most civilian's just haven't fathomed how to relate with the military in person or in virtual environment such as this.

We don't come in here to be entertained. We come in here to connect and share comraderie with each other. Politics, religion, other men's wives are touchy subjects with us. Sometimes our idea of fun is totally incomprehensible to those that haven't been there done that. We routinely work in some of the most hostile and outright dangerous places known to mankind, and we get off on it.

Yes, we sometimes give smug answers. Get over it bud. It don't mean or amount to much of anything. Stick around, I do enjoy your posts and thought processes. It is refreshing, even if I don't respond to the posts. I sometimes don't have the time or my mind isn't in the same proximity as my finger tips.

That's about as sincere as I can make it after a six pack of Corona.

Tyhpoon I agree with what the gunny said, as for me I am not home that much for me to be in here but if you cut and run that is your choice tho I will miss your links and random thoughts. That said you do what you feel you must. Take care and have a great life you will be missed. salute

You will be back. The gunny said it correctly and I agree with Coachman, I am not here very often anymore -- too much life at this point.

Don't poop on those who root for ya! I don't expect anybody to spend all day here. Maybe 4 years ago but now, no way. Facebook or Twitter etc, have
more or less chased away chat rooms or boardrooms etc,. Days go by fast for those who join in on all of the latest nonsense. So I come here to read up or jot down. 2 minutes of typing and I'm out riding.

I didn't mean riding on silly facebook or twitter, I meant horseback riding.

I am helping my wife feed two horses this next couple of weeks, but I have never enjoyed riding. I like listening to the chickens also, and their eggs are good, but they are also not my thing.

Maybe I just come from an age where keeping in constant touch is not as important as enjoying things around one.

It might be more like Aikido. I understand what you are saying though.
