Was the Afghan war in late 1980s an invasion?Because the Afghan government was an ally of USSR.It said that it came to defend Afghanistan from the front opened by the US and Pakistan.

Sorry I am only a child.But I don't get the point why USA and other countries supported Taliban?Though my own country supported them but I can't find the reason.

I know that USA and USSR were superpowers and had rivalries,but what was the excuse that they put forward to the world?Because 12 years after the end of the war they themselves "invaded"the same country with the same rulers they had helped.

The United States did not support the Talabin they supported the Mulhadeen Warriors against USSR the the Taliban was formed after the War with the USSR most of the Scholors went to Pakistan I guess that was when BinLaden moved from Mulhadeen to the Talabin and started movements against the Western World.

PS I am not sure but in his great wealth Binladen actually took the Afganies back many years in time I think that is why they are having so much trouble gaining their Freedom.It is the same with Iraq the old generation does not and refuses to let the Iraq people move foward
