There is such a huge cultural difference between our Nation and those which are considered to be our adversaries that the cultural issue itself is perhaps the biggest problem.

There is a time and a place for 'pc' stuff..but I think in this instance an education or 'cultural awareness' training would be invaluable..and could save lives. At the very least would make the mission more likely to succeed

I think some of our 'leaders' could use a dose of it too.

Wehre would you start. The different politics, religions, factions etc etc. It seems if we want them to be familiar w/ the mideast, than they shoudl be familiar w/ all ethnicities in all parts of the world.
