And here is where we complete the circle. If someone were not cut out to be in the military why are they so hardliner about forcing people to stay in that dont want to be there? I will leave it at that to keep cavscout off of a rabit trail.

Legally binding contracts mean nothing to you? You sign them all the time when you purchase a home, car, credit and so on. Do you apply the same logic when you default on them?

When you sign a contract for a car, you get the car and you pay for it, if not they take the car. I signed up to fly helicopters in my state, once I joined the promises made were no longer being upheld or there would not be any issues. I made my conditions clear, everyone was fine and we moved forward then all the crap started happening so they broke there promise and I walked, that simple.

around and around the merry go round

I was contractually obligated to go to OCS as soon as I got out of basic and they waited over a year, so under a cold hard I dont give a shit about verbal agreements they still broke the contract first. But right now it does not matter how right I am you are to proud to admit it because im a lower form of life in your eyes.

I can't believe I'm responding to this, but....

You've got to be a complete fool to think that a "verbal agreement" in addition to your contract papers would be honored. I knew my sophomore year in *high school* that verbal promises were worth nothing for enlistment contracts. If it wasn't in writing in the contract, then you weren't going to get it. Same deal if you take a contract dispute into court. Say that in addition to paying x amount for a car, the dealer also verbally promises to give you free gas for a year. Without any taped evidence of him saying that, you could swear up and down in court that he promised you free gas for a year, but the judge would laugh at you and tell you that since you have your car, you should finish your payments for the car and get the hell out of the courtroom.

I'll say this though, at this point, I'm glad you're getting out of the armed forces, and not going in, b/c you're a walking charlie foxtrot, and seem to lack any common sense whatsoever.

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill

Worst-Case Scenario:
Rppearso did NOT run away to his mommy, but instead stayed in the army...

Imagine what the army would be like then, and imagine the slap in the face of every self-respecting individual serving in the US Armed forces, if he had stayed.
