Think I've missed the subtle nuance of this move..
The US Military judge who's been presiding over Canadian Omar Khadr's terror case [ the 15 year old kid, held at Gitmo, who's accused of killing a US Medic, with a grenade, in Afghanistan back a few ] wasn't replaced because of the rulings he made[ which thwarted the prosecution's efforts ], his boss said. Colonel Ralph Kholmann said Judge Peter Brownback was replaced because the army had decided not to extend his active duty status beyond June 29 despite the fact that he was willing to stay and finish his cases.. Not keeping him on to finish up has nothing to do with the fact that he ruled against the government's case.. R I G H T... got it... Got nothing to do with making the big guys look bad by citing the law against them.... There I was , at the head of the old 68th... |
