MYCOC-LOL!

I'm sure getting Osama would put a smile on everybody's face for about 2 hours, then it's back to the drawing board. As things stand, most European countries that contain a hulk size of Islamics tend to wish things were as they once were. Hitler used to " push it " with the threats , and the next thing you know he's swallowing one country after another. No European host country wants a riot or some crazed war, so they back off and end up getting pushed around in their own countries! Eventually the PUSHER set's the rules. You watch.

No need for Osama.

Debating the obvious again? American apathy began back when we were in Korea and hasn't really approached the same level of oneness and confidence that WWII generated.
Desert Shield, and Desert Storm came the closest, but that was only because there wasn't any good tv shows on that showed the violence we were bringing to the Iraqi Army back them.

As for capture of Osama and the impact it would have? You have that part right. This enemy is a multi headed snake and the loss or capture of Osama won't make Al-Qaeda fold up and disappear forever. I do think that most Americans will rejoice in his capture and or proven death, if only to feel that some small justice was imposed on him physically.

Personally I would love to see Osama captured alive during the Bush presidency. I would not like to see a future democrate president being able to make the claim that they did what President Bush couldn't do.

If you are really so concerned about the proliferation of all these terrorist groups as evidence by posting from wikipedia (I assume) you should consider engaging your local newspaper to get this information out to the public. Do an interview to express your concerns. I'm sure that there are plenty of reporters out there willing to take on a good story. Posting that in here really accomplishes little as many in here have already had to deal with members of many of these groups. Some much more personal and up close than any normal person would ever want to.

You really want to make a difference in your world? Then go and do it. It ain't gonna happen from in here though. You'd make a fine Soldier or even a Marine. Harry's advice to you was sound and well intentioned.

As for my tampon comment? It was to get you to lighten up before this thread spiraled out of control and result in childish name calling, which by the way, you resorted to yet again to exercise your frustration at not getting your point across.

Perhaps I should have went to LAX instead of the store so I could have regaled you about how our homeland security reacted? Looks like its another Chili weekend on the horizon.... Razzer

I don't and never have used " wikpedia " for squid. Just simple terrorist watch from HS. I also participate in all media and work for the second biggest newspaper in America ( guess which one, but don't look in the writer section ). My whole family IS MILITARY ( COPS too ) going all the way back to the CIVIL war. My best friends are Military ( 2 in the Gulf War along with you ) etc,. One thing is for certain, I don't need to " warm up " with the locals before I can come here and read about farting. This thread is in PCP right? Exactly what do you want or expect people to discuss here? Also, you have concluded that everybody has more or less debated every topic and that this thread is " spiraled " out of control. I don't understand that. As for HarryP, I actually like the man. I think I like everybody actually. But, since more and more of you want me to hit the road so be it. Alright that is it for me here. Thanks for my Freedom!

geez lighten up dude. you take things way too seriously sometimes. wasn't asking you to hit the road...just lighten up and learn how to get your point across without getting pissed and resorting to name calling.

I do find it interesting that you work for a newspaper.

the wikipedia comment was posted with an admitted assumption... (in attempt to draw you out)

As for the farting story....were you in the store too?

One thing I will advise...don't burn your bridges behind you. You never know who's going to turn the next corner in your life.

As the Gunny says, lighten up dude.
