As I read the papers, talk with many who have been in country--Iraq.. Sometimes I think Pat Robinson might be a little center instead of self centered, Can someone explain why, when a middle east country asks for U.S. help we run with open arms and willing to give thousands of American lifes for thier cause, yet when the U.S. need help such as multi-national forces in Iraq or Afgan> The U.S. gets the Royal shaft from countries like Kuwait, United Emirates, Saudi Arabia Etc.
I think if such multi forces where in place, most of the terrorist, and Jihad fighters would not have the network they have in Iraq.

The funny thing is, our military banned the troops from using hookers, Yet, They (political powers that be) Whore out our military to countries like Saudi Arabia ( for a good price paid by the Saudi Goverment) in the name of protection.
I for one can't wait until that oil runs out, and American Ingenuity Kicks in. Then maybe we will have a Commander and Chief with Balls and not tied into big business or have our military as paid whores for protection, to these so called Friends of the UNITED STATES

So the President is a pimp? And the military are whores?

3.00 a gallon not high enough for you already?

We are held in high regard with Saudi, Kuwait, and UAE. THey are our allies. Granted there are differences between us, but even with our most solid of allies, England, we still have strong differences between us. Where are you getting your information? Certainly not from being over there.

Exactly how are we getting shafted?

Information is public, facts are facts amounts are what they paid.. you didn't want to touch on no troop support from these countries, i see...and yes our commander and chief is a pimp. what choice does he have? our need for oil, places that position at his door step, lets face it oil is not here forever maybe in my sons lifetime the arab wells will start to go dry, It will happen, hopefully by then we will have found other fuels/energy to replace oil, and at that point our Commander and Chief will not need to be a pimp for these so called Friends. of the U.S.

Ok, lets just let everything hold right there. Im not going to even pretend im an expert at global affairs. But here are some reasons I think our allies may be less then willing to help us in Iraq.

1. Believe it or not, Saddam wasnt the only dictator in the world. There are quite a few (N. Korea and some African countries spring to mind.) alot of these countries are viewed by the rest of the world as quite respectable. So why attack the guy who gives you oil? Sure he's nuthin but bad news, but we dont want to piss him off.

2. Beleive it or not, Iraq isnt the only conflict going on in the world. There are litterally dozens as I write this, Africa, southern Europe. Ex- Soviet union countries. Where was America during the Armenian Genocide? Hell, have you even heard of it BeenThereDoneThat? alot of those U.N. Countries are helping out there as well.

3. Not really a point but let me point out that when we started this war on terror the Japenese sent troops to battle for the first time since we bombed them and damn near demobolized their military. So don't say they arent risking their troops.

4. Lastly let me point out WWI and WWII respectivly, where the hell were we in 1939? when poland was invaded, where the hell were we for most of WWI siting on our butts because we thought that it "Was none of our business" maybe the U.N. feels the same way.

So maybe we should think from their shoes?

BTW I mean no disrespect torwards anyone or their views on the subject, I just disagree with some. Big Grin

Also feel free to correct me if im wrong on those points.

OneoftheLost I don't get your response, lets work our way backwards 4-1 on your statements.
#4 This was before my time, looking back on history yea we could have done something sooner, would there have been a cold war? if we did? would more american lifes been lost if we entered the war sooner? if you ask a russian the only reason america entered the war was to stop russia from taking over all of Europe.
#3 Did I mention Japan???
#2 Where was America,,get the point no vital interest with cold war over, poor countries unlike Kuwait and the Saudi that pays for protection.
#1 Point well taken , Kiss thier ass for the oil and not piss them off, need we say more to your reply???
The U.N what a joke itself.. if it worked there would not be so many of these problems, they have the title but no back bone or clear agreement

When it comes to nations, there are no permanent friends, only permanent interst. As long as the US actions are favorable to their national interst, they will support the US. On the other hand if they think it is not favorable to them, they will turn their back on the US. Roll Eyes
