One takes an 'oath' as either a promise or a statement of fact calling upon something or someone that the oath maker considers 'sacred'.
Nowdays our culture has adapted the concept of 'zero'. So 'nothing' is sacred. |

something to put in mind
as an iranin, its clear to me and everybody else, that if US strikes, our destruction is obvious. but iran is diffrent with iraq and afghanestan,if US has lost 5000men in iraq so far,in strike on iran this number might be round about 15000,with more casulties on the side of the US regional allies like KSA and jordan. so is the american society ready to lose more men?! |

Some say the USA won't and can't invade Iraq, because of money problems and not enough manpower, the money problems may be true, but manpower..? The US Armed Forces have over 1 million men and woman (active duty and reserves offcourse) so i think they have enough manpower to invade Iran if needed, but America is not gonna go back to the start of the war with Iraq and get all that bad publicity and all those protests all over the world, Iran may deserve it, but i think N-Korea is more a treat right now then Iran is.. Once the mess is solved in Iraq and Afghanistan and the USA will finally be out of war theu're gonna keep out of war for a few years, it's been busy the past few years..

True! the Iraqi army was mostly shirtless men with an AK, the Iranian army will be much more proffesional and harder to get past, and the losses in Iraq are by coward's attacks using carbombs or strapped on explosives and walk into a police office, Iranians are in my eyes much more educated and less extreme in their religion then Iraqi's..
