I figured anybody who was a loyalist to Bush would not even know that genocide is going on in Darfur. Since they are so concentrated on Iraq.

such a crock mulder. what would you do about it if you could?

besides, it matters little who is sitting in the oval office and time will tell once hillary (or insert your best guess as to which democrat is gonna get elected) gets in there. she won't do anything about it either.

Once a democrat gets into the office will you be singing this same tune?

YEAH! DARFUR, MAN!

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=darfur

4. darfur

A place where bad things happen to people. Oddly enough, the same people who always say 'peace to Darfur' are the same dumbass hippies that protest war in a rather absent-mindedly attempt to be nonconformist and fight the machine. They do raise a few good points every so often, but not enough to actually support the side they take. So few of them know just what the machine they fight against is, and just protest because they are incapable of intelligent thought processes.

Have you actually ever stopped to listen to these people who like to talk about Darfur? They are overly-opinionated, mentally retarded dumbasses who hate on Bush just because everyone else does. What's funny is that most of them are several times more retarded than George W.

Sorry dude, couldn't resist the temptation. This Urban Dictionary entry was just too close to your whiny, insipid ass.

Can't spell? Even with a dictionary on web browsers.

Since there is no oil in the region and it's Africans people won't care. Which itself is a tragedy, even for genocide.

Umm not to jump in the middle of your guys discussion here but actually Sudan is Chinas number one external source of oil, hence some peoples debate over why they and Russia stood in the way of the UN

Alrighty well i will head back over to my little corner now, please continue

I saw where 'Darfur Rebels' (coalition of the killing) claimed a victory and some damage to China's oil field there in a BBC artical:

quote:
Darfur rebels 'win major victory'

It is the second major attack in a week claimed by the Jem
Rebels in Sudan's Darfur region say they have inflicted a major defeat on the Sudanese army in an attack on a convoy near the border with Chad.
The rebels said they had defeated two battalions, capturing 29 soldiers, 32 vehicles and a number of heavy weapons.

Sudan's army confirmed a clash outside el-Geneina, the capital of West Darfur, but denied suffering heavy losses.

More than 200,000 people have died in the conflict between rebels and pro-government forces in Darfur.

International mediation efforts have repeatedly failed to stop the violence.

A 26,000-strong UN peacekeeping force is due to deploy in Darfur next year.

'Two battalions defeated'

Abdel Aziz el-Nur Ashr, a Justice and Equality Movement (Jem) commander, said his forces had captured a lieutenant-colonel and three other officers.

Who are Darfur's rebels?

"We defeated two battalions and chased them to within 7km [4 miles] of el-Geneina," he told Reuters news agency.

In an unconfirmed claim, he added that the Jem had also attacked Sudan's Defra oil field for a second time, shutting down its pumping station.

This is the second time in a week that Jem rebels have said they have inflicted a heavy defeat on government troops, the BBC's Adam Mynott reports from Nairobi.

They said their forces had attacked an army garrison in Kordofan in central Sudan last Tuesday.

Again, the Sudanese government denied the claims.

A rebel report that they had taken over a Chinese-run oil field was denied by the Chinese embassy in Khartoum, which did, however, confirm there had been fighting.

Within the next few weeks the first contingent of a UN-African Union hybrid force is due to take over peacekeeping operations in Darfur.

But it still lacks vital equipment it needs and there are continuing differences with the Sudanese government about various operational procedures, our correspondent notes.

These 'rebels' fight the arab militias...raid china's interests...
oppose sudan government and the UN.

Sounds like they'd fit right in in old dixie...

What about that 'hybred' UN force?
Have they got a chinaman's chance?
