The President declared 9/18/09 as POW/MIA day.
Who has read anything in the main stream media about it?Anyone seen news stories on TV or heard about it over the radio?
Nope,me either.
MilitarySpot gave it coverage,I'm sure other pro-military sites did as well.
We who have benefited from all those who served, those that fought, those that were wounded, those that were captured, and those that remain unaccounted for to this very day,we bow our head in humble rememberance.
YOU ARE REMEMBERED.Not by having a "day declared",but every day,we say thank you.
Most of all we want an accurate and true accounting of all those MIA.They deserve nothing less.

The numbers missing is quite high. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. What is with the confederate flag? Feeling your rebellious oats today? (I don't care about you using it, just noting it.)

Harry, can't slip nothing by you. Cool
Yes,feeling a little "states sovereignty" today.
The South went to war over that very issue.Unfortunately slavery was the main point to the rebellion.
I want more states rights and less federal government deciding states rights.

Besides,I thought my Amanda Bynes avatar was just too cute for this sight.Typhoon asked me how my tan was doing!!
ROFLMAO!!!!!

Yea, I saw that and figured it was not really you. I consider the difference between the political parties only exists on "how" they want to interfere in our lives.

I was gonna post the Texas state flag, but when I wear my denim jacket with the Texas patch people say"I didn't know you were Puerto Rican".Hazards of living in NJ.
I for sure didn't want the Confederate Battle Flag,so I went with the original.
A brief synopsis:

The question is is it only 9/18/09 that is POW/MIA day, or is it every 9/18? If he really wants to show that he really cares about our troops, and POW/MIA's he would make it a national holiday, and grandfather it in. I am also mad I missed it, but then again I believe you all know why I stay way from the news?
