In the next Election there will be many Presidential candidates.

Question:
Will you vote for the personality or the voting record?

Choices:
Voting Record
Personality

Voting record limits the options
to career politicians.

Personality? Personality type?

What (insert popular entertainment series here) character are you? (series such as Star Wars, Gilmore Girls, Pokémon, Metroid, or South Park)

I'm a sort of MASH/Rat Patrol/Johnny Quest/Bonanza/
Hawaii Five-O/American Bandstand/Jetsons/Amos N' Andy/
Baa Baa Black Sheep/The Price is Right/Jepordy/
Lone Ranger/Davy Crokett/Sgt. Preston of the Yukon/
Adam 12/Branded/The Courtship of Eddie's Father/
Death Valley Days...kind of character.

The closest thing to that I've seen in a President
was President Reagan.

Of course He was more like General Electric Theater/Ford Theater/ Schlitz Playhouse of the Stars/ Kraft Suspense Theater/Wagon Train/Bob Hope Buick Show/
Art Linkletter's House Party/ Milton Berle Texaco Star Theater/Death Valley Days kind of character.

Said it before an I'll say it again.....I'm voting for Hillary, if only because you democraps deserve her in the White House.

Having her in there will be like watching a 4 year long train wreck. Oughta be entertaining to say the least. Besides, Having Wild Bill back in as the 1st husband will be worth seeing.

Democrats are 5/11 favorites to gain the White House.

- 1994-2006, Republican Congress that ran our country into the ground, enormous deficit and spend like there's no tomorrow.

- 2000-2009, Worst President and VP in history, that along with Plamegate, Blackwater USA, Gitmo, Illegal Wiretappings, Katrina relief, etc.

- responsible for two unending wars, bad foreign policy. The Cold War is over and we need to change how our military functions.

- corrruption: probably one of the most if not the most corrupt Congress in history

- Recession that was cause by spending bills that took place before the Dems took office, because Bush vetoes everything they put and he never vetoed any spending bill with the GOP in control.

- Domestic policies are all failures under GOP.

I would take voting record over personality, I don't give a rats ass about the president as long he does a good job in office, look at FDR, the greatest president of the 20th century by a mile and he was known for having an affair with the hired help.

The news say he's a maverick, but his voting record mirror Bush's. He's not a maverick, he's a follower of bad policy.

If John McCain is selected then about 14 million Republicans won't give a rat or vote for that matter. Maybe an even bigger number than that too. Bank on it. McCain can go on Leno for the next year and he still won't trick a Party of people with good memories of who is who.

Ron Paul is the only one that can pull this country back together, if anyone but Ron gets in it will be a three ring circus, hey maybe Canada will let us become a province when it all comes tumbling down.

Ron Paul? He is an isolated nervous sounding mental case. This is why America is going down the tube, both the Democraps and Republicans put up people who are uninteresting and both top it off with that one lone nutball ( Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich ) whom more or less empower everybody during a debate simple by proposing wacked out crap that nobody wants. They ' ARE ' the conspiracies they detest, because they start the conspiracies.

Hey Typhoon, don't go insulting Kucinich, he's a damn good candidate.

Ron Paul wants to bring back the gold standard so our money is worth something again and end the war so we stop spending and he is pro gun and anti social programs it does not get much better than that.

Oh give me a break for crying out loud! Kucinich is already down at the Bus Depot heading home. He quit. I have a theory about these Ralph Nadar, Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinch fellas. They all know they will never win, yet they appear every 4 years. My money is they do this for money and a small Jay Leno joyride. Nothing more than money. What they have to do is 100 times easier than being serious because their whole deal is just proposing idiotic crazy time-warps sagas ( Kucinich & UFO's ) that keep them in the lime light.

You do realize that the gold standard had seriously bad economic repercussions in the past?

Typhoon first off I said he was a good candidate, I NEVER said he was a realistic candidate. He's just who I'd put in office if it were up to me, not who I'd vote for or who I think is going to win. Try reading my posts.

It is spelled Democrats for those of you who cannot seem to show a modicum of respect. There are some good Democrats and some good Republicans – just not enough of either. The candidates from both parties are mostly all bad this year.

Ronald -- what do you know about economics -- the gold standard sucked and so does the idea of bringing it back.

I, as a more-or-less liberal independent am looking at John M because he is anti-spending. The deficit is one of our major economic problems.

I knew you would say something like that. HarryP, John McCain bores the daylights out of America. Can you imagine him calling us " my friends " every 2.5 seconds for the next 4 years? He offers nothing because he has already offered it a 100 times before. 1982 is not NEW " MY FRIENDS ".
