According to Democrats GITMO was being used as a recruiting tool for terrorist. There was no GITMO before 9/11, but let's all forget about that and go with a silly theory. Is prison a recruiting tool for criminal minds? Could McDonald's be actively recruiting BLOBS as I type? Which came first " the dummy or the dope " ? Nobody really knows what to do now, because after 8 years of saga-filled BS about BUSH & CHENEY, it turns out Nancy Pelosi was in on the stuff as well! They should send them ( the terrorists ) to San Quentin State Prison so they can " be safer " from the evils of Bush etc,. No more on call doctors or interested reporters, no more snug meals or rooms pointed towards Mecca. Just 1 in a million at the back of the line.

Most people make a problem out of GITMO because the men there can't see a lawyer of have a trial, I have no problem with torturing or executing terrorists IF THEY HAVE BEEN FOUND GUILTY, a man that killed innocent woman and children deserves to die and suffer, if someone mentions human rights then, are they still human? They think they're god asked them to do that, then why does god never whispers the lottery numbers to me? Gitmo should stay open, but allow lawyers inside and make some sort of courtroom (GITMO is american soil, so a courtroom would have to respect American laws in there). Many innocent people have been locked up in GITMO before, and we all gotta admit, that isn't fair, but a real murdering terrorist doesn't deserve a clean cell and a nice hot meal. Some say they should be locked up in the US, well how would they're fellow inmates think if they knew a terrorist who attempted to kill american cicilians or soldiers would join them? They'd be lycnched in no-time, u can look at it like u want, but GITMO is the best place those guys can be right now..

I don't think anybody is for torture with the exception of the American " Blues Media " and their 8 year quest to try and frame Bush along with Cheney as 2 fishy rogue nut-balls who were hellbent on using war as a trick to steal oil. If you are a follower then conspiracies are your guide. Now for the big problem : Those inept goons who created all of these silly tales have just lost the 2 biggest meal tickets now that Bush and Cheney are gone. Oh sure, every week or so Nancy Pelosi or Obama will still toss up a fake CIA investigation to pretend they are still with all of the nut-balls who created all of these myths, but they bog down just as fast. Even those who write conspiracies know the only thing they have is the gift of creativity. As fervent as they are, they know whats up. GITMO was just a theatrical tool for political gains. Obama is now President of the United States and he could shut down GITMO right now if he wanted, so... |

Not so fast, dear Typhoon. Nobama is the president yes, but he is just the spokesperson to the congress who is really running the show. He might be able to say he has shut down Gitmo, but ultimate it is congress who has the real final say.
