see that one of the more ' controversial ' figures of the Viet Nam Era/War has passed into history..
condolences to family and friends and to the american military community on the death of General Westmoreland.. he always maintained that America didn't lose the conflict and, there is much to suggest he was right.. whatever the belief, no one can fault his dedication and service to country. RIP Sir... Float like a Lepidoptera, Sting like a Hymenoptera |

He tried his best to win a war with too many restrictions and limitations placed upon him.Washington did not want to win and placed a heavy burden onto the General's shoulders.

He was a man who dedicated his life to his country and one who saw the elephant. God bless and rest in peace.
