While any military death is a cause for reflection, our nation, our people, must look beyond the numbers, and focus on the results of those sacrifices.

2K, 4K, 6K, 8K, 10K, if thats what it takes to rid the world of terrorists, and keep America's way of life intact....then so be it.

We seem to be back to the body count thing again. There are better ways to analyze the success or failure of a war. The administration needs to talk more openly about the gains other than political in the wars. They seem to concentrate on the political implications and are more vague on the human side of things.

US totals military killed in Iraq so far runs about 2200 I think.. that's over 3 years ..

The US lost that many in one month [ May 1968 ] in VietNam...
