Screw that! McCain can expect millions of republicans to vote for Hillary or Obama rather than John McCain. I'll probably do it for a good laugh because thats what it is. See you fellas around.

McCain has my vote. Had it eight years ago. Except for his views on controlling our border and illegal immigration, we're kinda in step. The ONLY way you'll get me to vote Democrat now is to let Huckabee back in the race.

The man has been in Washington longer than Washington and you fellas expect change? Oh you're gonna get that change when your taxes go up to pay for those BORDER hospitals etc,. Tick-tock boys. Wink Also, get ready to put your wallet on a slim-fast diet because it's gonna need to do a whole bunch of hard work to pay for this nutride. Bank on it.

Who said I wanted change? From the number of f--cking times I've heard "change" or better yet "REAL change" from Obama and Clinton-- I don't want it (especially the "real" change-- I'm not even sure what that is....real change vs low-fat change? Imaginary change? False change?). I don't care who you put in the Whitehouse, anybody but George Bush is going to be a change.

Tell you what you are not going to get : McCain as the next President. The base and numbers are on my side and that is the BOTTOM line. In other words, you might like McCain, but the base does not. There are millions of us too, so good luck. Eeker

Great going! A quote I did'nt leave followed an odd conclusion that I support Ron Paul? Whatever rocks your boat there. You don't seem to understand that Republicans >>>>DON'T LIKE HIM. Maybe CNN does or Chris Mathews, but not us. Also, there are many heros in this country, they just don't blab about it at every debate with the hopes that everybody else will shut up. Tough. Sorry, maybe I don't read the board close enough, so I don't know who your candidate is. The quote above just had me thinking "we are Legion" and reminded me of the Ron Paul crowd.... Big Grin

John McCain is probably the only Republican who has a chance of winning the independents (like me) and defeating the (whether you like it or not) very popular Democrats (whoever wins there). George Bush has done a pretty good job in making sure a traditional, conservative Republican will not be elected this go around.

I didn't mean to be " curt " with the lingo, but I feel no excitement with any of these people who I have had to endure for 20 plus years. Be it Republican or Democrat, they are all the same old box of tricks that have always been in our faces slime after slime. Nothing new with any of them except the wrinkles. Frowner

So, who would you like to see as President? You do not have to choose from the current crowd, it might give us some prospective into what you are getting at and have some substance as opposed to whining about the government, unless that is what you do not like which is a different discussion altogether.

Oh I'm going to vote, just not for McCain with his " my friends, my friends " whisper. 4 years of whispering and looking angry all the time. That would help moral.
