Greetings to all Active Army soldiers and Veterans,
My name is Terry Sako and I’m a Marine and a Vietnam Veteran. Recently, I wrote a book titled "395 and a Wake Up," based on my experiences in the war. Though it written as a work of fiction, it is based on factual events as I remember them; which was no mean feat for an old fart like me. The story line and dialog are true-to-life, and the memories are like a flashback to the war. From the word-of-mouth reviews I’ve gotten-from followers from various military forums like this one—the readers seem to like it. And that’s not just scuttlebutt.
