What units do 68D (operating room specialists) typically get assigned to? I'm going reserve and would like to be a part of the 87th division, is that possible?

The one guy we had in here that could of possibly answered your question has transferred to another duty station. You might want to speak to a recruiter and give him/her a shot at getting you an answer.

The army? Normally you can't choose who you are assigned to unless you go through ranger training. Then you WILL be joining the good 'ol 75th. You can't really choose....

Caveat emptor

quote:
"I knew that when I would join the military that I wanted to have a job with aircraft, so I enlisted as a 15U-helicopter repairer," said Jump.

Soon after enlisting, Jump changed her military occupational specialty to a 68D - an aircraft power train repairer. During advanced individual training, she was the only female in the class.

Now she is in F Company, 159th Aviation "Big Windy" from Giebelstadt, Germany.
