I am a combat vet stuck in a bad promotion situation. I've been a team leader for a year as a SPC. Still my 1SG has a grudge against me because I came back from WLC early (9 months ago) because my wife was in labor 7 weeks premature. The problem: (obviously) My promotion to E-5. Besides my chain of command recommending the open door policy with the CSM and also recommending an IG complaint (because of other related circumstances) what do you gents know about ALI--The automatic list integration. I've really tried hard to google it because I do know I'm coming up to that time. Please educated me with whatever you know...anything. Plus requirements!? (I know most because I've researched online) but do I need to turn in paperwork? What forms (if I need too)?

Also, I have reclassed and am waiting on a school date (approx. November-ish). My company is deploying soon and are switching me companys soon to make room for deploying personnel. I don't want to sound indecisive but getting a 1SG that doesn't dislike me and a promotion (maybe even a school) makes me want to stay in my current MOS. If a regular board promotion or ALI promotion were to happen and I want to stay my MOS can I cancel my reclass enlistment to stay needs of the army? I'm asking because i'm pretty sure I've read this before.
