I'll be going to Ft. Sill in February for four weeks to take the Basic Officer Leadership (Direct Commision) Course. Has anyone had this course or know about it so I might get an idea of what to expect? I've been in the AF for 13 years and fell victim to their Reduction In Force and now I'm going Blue to Green. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Mountain Cat,

Looks like you and I will be classmates. Most of the information I have comes from the Ft Sill website for BLOC II / DCO.

From the looks of things, we will have weeknights and weekends free. The main question I have is what the living conditions are like. I read on a BLOC II blog that they have 3 to a room, however, the Ft Sill website says that we will be in BOQ.

James.
