Ok guys, I'm really clueless here. I reenlisted under the SMP program where I will be in the reserves and ROTC simultaneously. The problem is that my orders don't jive with what I was told. The recruiter said I was reclassed to 91W from 25C, and ,as a cadet, I would have the interim reserve grade of E5. My orders have me as a 25C E4. What is going on? My reserve unit is as clueless as I am, and the recruiter won't return my calls.

Its whats is written in your contract that counts, not what a recruiter verbalized to you at some point.

Geez, you and he could have been sitting in a bar each drowning yer sorrows several times over, so you can see why they don't change anything simply because a recruiter said this or that during the course of the day.

There was no contract. I thought I was reenlisting(I was in my window), but it turned out the recruiter just transfered me from IRR to the reserves. Ah well, at least I figured it out.
