ok my parents dont like the fact that i am going to join the army again. Today my mother told me that when they call about my security clearance she is going to make up alot of BS because i have been paying rent to her for the last 3+ years, and she said that she is going to tell them that we are behind like four months and that when we do pay its like half a month late. Now this is not true but i have always payed her in cash so it is going to be slim for me to prove that. Also if i can find a way to prove that its not true, is there any thing else she might be able to say that would keep me from getting the SSC? Sorry for the rant but its like i have been walking on glass around her for over a month now, and she just seems to be getting worse.

What about the Wife and kids what does she say.I doubt if your mother can do much I don't know about the Wife.By the way how old are you.

I am 25. My wife acually loves the fact of me going back in, her step dad was army, and because she knows how much i want to be in. My mother is the only one who hates the idea. Every one else is either ok about it or just stickin out of it because of my mother. And my daughter doese not grasp the idea that i will be gone a lot because she is 6 years old, but loves that her daddy will be in the army, and my boys are only 4 and 3 so they dont get any of it.

Just to say it. As far as going into service it will not matter about the clearance, I will join no matter what, but I am trying to go 18x. therefore the problem with SSC. But even if not I will just go in with another MOS witch doesnt require one.But 18x has been my goal since i was 8.

You will also get a chance to speak to the investigator concerning your clearance. Explain to the investigator exactly what is going on. I had a mother-in-law do the same thing. If she's lying, it will come out in the wash.
