Moon, yes you will have problems joining the US military because things are changing rapidly. Why? Because of the economic situation in general. The US military has lots of volunteers and they can pick the best from the best. Also, there is a general tendency to reduce forces because we need fewer but better soldiers. Thus, we can get rid of those who are foul & excess. You, as a foreigner, must apply for an immigration visa to join the US military (the green card gives you a right to work in the US but not stay there forever). Many people don't know that. When you enter the US you can go to a recruiter with your immigration Visa and other papers(School, work, police etc.)in hand and apply. He will arrange medical and aptitude tests (in complicated English) and have a background investigation run on you. The idea is to prevent spies from entering the US military. This will take several months. Reading above, your English is too poor to pass the tests. So you must get better. To sum it all up: Entering the US military is not all that easy as the lady from Heidelberg suggests. I recommend you stay in Korea. Your country might need you soon with all the saber rattling by your North Korean friends.
