rppearso, your ability to be a fool is beyond measure. The advice you are giving would have gotten your ass kicked in every single unit to which I was assigned and believe me, not everyone wanted to be there. They just had something that you do not – intestinal fortitude. What makes you think that your lack of honor can be sold to anyone? Ignorance is your only claim to fame.

Harry said it, Harry said it!
Dude, if your "free flow of ideas" included the kind of crap advice you just spouted out on this forum....duh! No wonder people told you to shut the hell up. |

So putting on weight in your unit would have got your ass kicked. In that case you would have a lagit reason for going AWOL and would most likely be able to make a very good case to JAG that in your opinion you felt you personal safety or life was in danger from your own unit members.
Intestinal fortitude to piss away 4 years of your life, how much sense does that make. I got chewed out for day to day stuff, like trying to get my OCS paper work filled out and not addressing an officer or NCO correctly, if I forget oh well my paper work is more important than how I address you and if you want to create a scene over it then its not the place for me. Or when the major wanted me to come in to do something during the middle of the work week and said I needed to compromise, why the hell would I compromise anything to someone who chews me out and treats me like crap when my civilian job is awsome, im not going to risk that. |

Why are you even bringing up lack of honor, these are suggestions to get out of the military, if you want to talk about honor the maner in which the military forces people to stay in is dishonorable, by threats and scare tactics, I dont buy into the hocus pocus BS.

Geez rrpearso.. are yopu on every thread spouting off crap about how the fascist dictatorship of the US military screwed you over?
The brutal regime of torture and punishment you received rivals the treatment of the detainees at Gitmo? Things got so bad you had to eat yourself into a health crisis? now you're - what?- 500 pounds of blubber and your heart is two ticks from stopping from arterial build-up? You are one sick f**ker, my man... you need counselling and need to shut the hell up before your warped view of the Us Military screws up some poor innocent youth looking to make a better way for his/her self in the forces. AR600-9 is the most surefire way to get out that I know of, if you know of something a bit easier to get out that is not at the discression of command let us know.
I am at 238 and my normal weight is around 212 when I am power lifting, if I dont take the weight off fairly quickly after I get discharged it could turn into a health crisis if I let it go until im 30 or so. But it is a surefire way to get out and that is what him and his girlfriend were asking. If they wanted to stay in they wouldent be asking how to get out. The military is not for everyone and just because you signed up does not mean all of a sudden it is for you. |

That has to be a relief, I was giving advise based on the fact that she was shipping to basic already so if she managed to keep off of that plane thats good. So you are better off than I am, I am kinda jealous, I still have to talk to S1 about getting my defective enlistment agreement since it has not been mailed to me in 5 months, I just hate being on base it puts me on edge. Alot of people in here are hardliners so they dont take kindly to people getting out.

They came and took her. She was then outprocessed according to the posts from her boyfriend.

They came to her house and got her, its not like they kicked in the door and pointed a gun at her. The most important thing is to not get on the plane, they cant really force you to get on the plane.

I read it all but it wasn't mentioned exactly what happened. He asked what was the "getting out process" in one of his last posts, but didn't say she was outprocessed, but he said she got out. I was wondering what happened. Did they just say "okay, so you're not going to show up, you're discharged" or what?

GI Rights Hotline from Earthlink. Hmmmm, 'cause thats an official .mil or service.mil or VA.gov address. I'll be sure to remember that, when I want official "GI rights."

I talked to the buggers and they preached to me the "delayed entry program" which the National Guard does not have.
