Hey guys, I just swore in on May 15 and am leaving for BCT on June 15. My MOS is Satallite Communications System Operator/Maintainer (25S). Does anyone know anything in depth about this MOS? I wanted Mental Health Specialist because I have a B.S. in Psychology, but some old legal trouble from 6 yrs. back kept me out of the Medical Field altogether. Anyway, I don't have alot of experience in the tech field and went out on a limb to learn something new and expand my education. I'm just a little worried that I picked a job that wont be exciting like Infintry or Artillery. Regardless of my MOS, I realize I'm a soldier first, but I'm just curious about what I picked. I don't know a lot about 25S but I do know some Soldiers in other 25 Series jobs. They all seem to like what they're doing. Don't worry about being too technically savy--they'll teach you that! Good Luck and Welcome to the Army!
