Question:
Hello,

I am a 14 year old freshman at York High in York, Maine. I am organizing a race to fund research and raise awareness of Hepatitis C. My father contracted this disease through a blood transfusion that he received during military service. He is now awaiting a liver transplant.
The economic impact of this disease in the coming years is staggering. Most people who have the disease are unaware of it until it places them in a critical health situation. Research and awareness are mandatory in this disease.
Please support this cause by walking or running in the race, placing a link on your site to the race or making a donation. Exposure to this race will race awareness and save lives!
