There's an obvious (and amphibious) answer to this....the best of both worlds.....

Air force==No wings, can't fly not a bird
Navy==Can't swim, not a frog Marines==patoloco and gunny in it, what else do the marines need? Army== spent 21 years, I really enjoyed it. Best decision for me. Count it the greatest sin to prefer life to honor, and for the sake of living to lose what makes it worth living. -junival c.50-c.130 |

I am a Navy Veteran. I like the old Navy and the ocean not the new Navy. That's just me. If you like pushing paper's, boat's & sub's join the Navy. But on the othewr hand.....an Army soldier is more disciplined and you will gain more overall soldiermanship and military skill's by joining the Army. That is a fact of life. An Army soldier will experience war first-hand and will have the life experiences of live combat as opposed to a large number of Navy Master Chief's and Navy Officer's that will never experience a firefight there-by drive their subordinates crazy by firing a cruise missle 7-15 Mile's away. That's about as close as most chief's these day's will ever come to engaging in a live firefight. The modern Navy is very technical these day's, the Army is well will train you to fight and has all the cool toy's. Join the Army but give 100% don't sell yourself short, experience it by going to combat.
