My name is Terry Sako; a Marine and a Vietnam War veteran. I served in the Marine Corps from August 1967 to June 1970; tour of duty from February 1968 til August 1969.

I have been lucky enough, in more ways than one, to have a book published about my experiences in the war. It is titled "395 and a Wake Up," and tells a tale that most of us can relate to--that of youth escaping our grasp to quickly. I wrote it as a work of fiction, but it
is based on true-to-life events by a "everyman" soldier.
