Here is my story, on entrance and exit exams the physicians notated that my back was normal, within three months from discharge it was noted that I had significant scoliosis. I tried to file a claim for this but was denied stating that this is congenital, if so why was it not found on either exam? I have tried to get my military records changed to reflect this and was also told this was a congenital defect. I still do not agree with that answer. Can someone advise me how I can get this added or get service connected for something I had no knowledge about until it was found on the x-ray? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
