Has anyone returning home from a tour downrange ever felt restless and was anxious to return to the battlefield?

Yes, it happens to a lot of people. Some feel they are indispensable and that people will die if they are not out there. Others think that the bullshit games in the rear are so petty compared to actually doing something worthwhile, that they can't wait to get back. I hear it all the time from Soldiers and Marines (and experienced it myself in my younger days).
