F.A.R.T. was an Army Air Corps. Acronym for 'Flatulent Air Release Technique' which was at that time Deep Knee Bends Repetition: (used in B-25s through B-29s) Starting with the B-36 a newer technique was needed due to limited crew space. Updated techniques included isometrics: Hence the difference in technique designations of the commonly used idioms of 'old' and 'young' as in 'Old' F.A.R.T. and 'Young' F.A.R.T.. Now often referred to usage in the vernacular as a vulgar colloquial. |

The US Army had more ships that the US Navy.
They are at Fort Eustis, Va (or were when I was in). "It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it" DOUGLAS MacARTHUR, 1952 |

Most times historic reality is the main reason for interest. Those links are from stumble upon and it is set on history. Keep clicking the " stumble " at the top left of the page, and you'll get endless page after page on all sorts of stuff.
