So my boyfriend deployed on Monday. I feel that all things considered, I've been hanging in there. I realize it's something he has to do, and there's nothing I can do about it, so the best thing is for me to be there to support him.

Well, I don't get to talk to him very often, but when he CAN call, it's normally between 12 midnight and 4am.. so I put my phone on LOUD ring. Well the past few weeks I've been having an issue with the sound on my phone not working. Meaning sometimes it doesn't always ring or when it does, it's broken up or rings really low.

Needless to say, he called last night FOUR TIMES and my phone NEVER rang... it's so, so, so, so frustrating! His mom even sent me a text telling me he's calling, but it didn't go through! Ugh, I emailed him (hopefully he'll get it) letting him know what's going on.. I hope he's not upset. I call T-Mobile this morning and FREAKED out.. I was so angry.. I pray to hear from him everyday and when he does call, my darned phone chooses not to work.

It's really frustrating. I just hope he understands!

Ahhhh, the reality of mobility. There's something to be said for keeping a landline in the house.

Put it on vibrate and put it on your body.

Yep. Time for a new cell phone, and you might want to get a home phone that is a bit more reliable. That is one call one does not want to miss. I would also (in the event that he can't get on-line) send him a snail mail explaining what's going on with your phone. Even in this day in age snail mail to our troops is more reliable than e-mails. And for good reason.
