My nephew left for Iraq on Thanksgiving day. I want to send him a PSP Entertainment Pack, but the memory card isn't included. I'm trying to order it online, but I'm unable to include the memory stick for the game because-

"This item cannot be delivered to some locations, including APO/FPO addresses, due to carrier restrictions. Please go back and remove this item from your order or ship to a different address."

How do I get around this? I think the game's useless without the mem stick. He's in Diyala. Can he get a mem stick there? Sorry if I sound stupid, but he hasn't been there long enough for me to know the rules.

The item itself may not be restricted, it's the company policy. Some companies refuse to deliver to APO/FPO boxes. You can have the item shipped to you, then send it on from there.

Or, I stumbled on this recently (coincidentally). I've never used it, but they offer a "work around" for those APO boxes.

Now I am going to ask the stupid question; why on Earth won't they send goods to an APO/FPO addy? That is sort of slapping the deployed troops in the face if you ask me. Are they that paranoid that a Jihadi is going to bomb them, or something?
