I have always been interested in the military and also interested in the medical field. what i would like to know is if i wanted to join the military could i get the medical training necessary to become a doctor, and if so what branch would be the best to do so? thanks alot for the help.

thanks for that information but im not attending any medical school as of now. would i have to be attending one or could i join and get the training without attending any other college?

Dude....did you read the thread?
YOU CAN'T BECOME A DOCTOR WITHOUT MED SCHOOL. If you choose to enlist as a medical professional (tech, nurse, medic, corpsman) you'll get some medical training but-- YOU CAN'T BECOME A DOCTOR WITHOUT MED SCHOOL. |

The military is not a substitute for a lagitimate college education and medical degree. Military service will actually hinder you in this endevor because it will take a minimum of 8 years to finish med school after which you can go in with a direct commission. Simple but not easy.
