Hey guys, I've been lurking here for a little while now and I just wanted to ask a quick (Not really) question.
I have been processing with the navy since February. I went to MEPS in June, scored an 82 on my ASVAB and completed my physical. I was not sworn in, due to the fact that several medical waivers had to be obtained, as well as recieving a surgical consult for a wrist surgery I had when I was 15 (Im 20 now). My waivers, as I understand it, consist of the following: Gurts, heart murmor, ADD, Iritable bowl syndrome-all things I have been cleared for from various doctors. Acording to my recruiter, my medical waivers have come in and we are just waiting on finalizing paper work, or something to that effect, while another recruiter says I have not recieved my waivers. The problem is I have 4 different individuals working as my recruiters and I get different answers from them all. I want to be a corpsman. I have been an EMT for 2 years and love the field of emergency medicine, and would like to develope myself as a person, and as a proffesional in EM...and, as we all know, the military would do these things better then any other organization on earth. Unfortunatly, I am afraid the Navy may not work out, and I am considering the other branches. If I were to be declined, would I be able to process(preferably in medicine, but if I could just get accepted I would be happy)with the other branches? or are my options closed for now? Thanks. P.S. I have no income at the time (was terminated from ambulance company) and I am running out of money for payments. I will be without a home soon, and I was wondering if another branch would be able to process me faster. |

I don't mean to be pushy, and I know this is not the most interesting of subjects, but any help would be extremely apreciated.

I noticed the "introduce yourself" thread. I also noticed that its last post was last month so I figured it would be skipped over, but I might just introduce myself there.
thanks for the response. |

Piecycle...the introduce yourself is mainly to introduce self to the forum so that we can find out something about our newbies.

alright, Ill start up an introduction post.
But I was wondering if anyone thought that my recruiter(s) were avoiding telling me I was declined? or if you could think of any reason for, what I assume to be, secrecy? |
