No they don't. However when one starts at the bottom of the rank structure, everyone has had to clean toilets, serve time as mess crank, chip paint. Ask any Chief, he did that when he was a Seaman. The work still needs to get done, and as with all things shit rolls downhill so to speak.

Top_Gun -until you make E-4 you or another E-2 or E-3 is going to clean the Birthing compartment and (Head)we have no toilets in the Navy.and working space you will stand watch somewhere depends on where you are stationed.

Haven't you ever heard the saying that 'Rank has its privileges'? If an E5 gives you a lawfull order to do a task, and you are an E4, guess what? You gotta perform that task. So get used to it, thats life in the military and its also how we get the mission accomplished. And YES, cleaning the head is part of meeting the Navy's mission. Can't have disease spreading or running rampant among the team can we? So yeah the heads get cleaned. Did you think a maid comes in and cleans the toilets for you?
