Hey,
What are the requirements to become a Marine? (Besides from being an American Citizen) What's training like? (Basic, Boot Camp, etc..) What kind of education did u had to have? (I have a highschool diploma) And some general information about deployment, can they send you straight out of bootcamp into a warzone? Or will they let you get some experience first before they dro pyou right into the shit? Thanks, if there's anything else you can tell me, please do.. "Land Of Freedom, Home Of The Brave!" |

Hey there Belgian, the requirements are the same as for all US Military. You need NOT be an American citizen as an Enlisted man (EM). I have answered many questions in this forum on the requirements. Just look them up. If you make it into the US Mil. they can send you anywhere, because the needs of the Mil. Services are above your needs, just like in the Belgian Army (I hope). If you have a US HS diploma (or a recognized foreign equivalent, see your recruiter) you are good to go for EM. Officer is totally different.

Is it possible to start as EM and work your way up to officer? Or is the max. you reach as EM corporal or something like that? Or is it once you choose to be enlisted there's no way back.. "Land Of Freedom, Home Of The Brave!" |
