I have been considering going into the military, and my heart is really set on going to DLI and learning a language. Unfortuantely, in my research I have been unable to find an enlisted MOS in any branch that could guarentee this without a security clearance, which I am pretty sure I would be uable to pass (due to a pretty messy credit situation). Does anyone know of ANY occupation in ANY branch that would offer me a chance to get to DLI without a having to first pass a security clearance? Thanks.

Not in todays military.

Nope. Not a chance (I went to DLI), you'll need the clearance. Now, credit issues (depending on how severe and how recent) will not necessarily bar you from a clearance. I'd talk it over with a recruiter and see how far you can get with our issues if you really want to do this.
