Then don't get bent out of shape when these sorts of problems occure. You cant treat most people like dirt indefinatly and not expect a negitive response. Anyone that is not insane is not going to say oh yea I signed a contract to be here that means im ok with being treated as subhuman. If your ok with using the "signed on the dotted line argument" then by definition you must be ok with the consequences of dealing with non performers and non hackers and you have no right to get angry at them because they cant leave because your forcing them to stay there.
So if you want to force retention you dont have a right (unless your insane of course) to complain about the consequences. |

The military doesnt treat people like shit. Losers think it does because they cant actually hack doing any real work and then when they fail they get upset that they get in trouble for it.
I wouldnt sign on the dotted line for any other job unless I knew what I was getting myself into. Those people that blindly sign and then complain because it wasnt like their high school buddy (who could hack it) said it would be are idiots. If someone signs up for 4 years than I dont see why they shouldnt have to fulfill those four years simply because they dont like it anymore. |

I disagree, I signed up because I do work hard (I have a degree in chemical engineering half way to my PE in chem eng, the major of OCS said she is not even that motivated) so please do not associate "hard work" with willingness to tolerate nonsence. I was interested in flying to respond to disasters in my state (the primary role of national guards btw, not to deploy to iraq) and I knew the physical standards would be hard, but I never knew the hazing would be so bad especially after basic.
So people sign for different reasons so while you can use the "dotted line arguemnt" but just because someone is unable or unwilling to conform does not make them a "loser". So the military does in fact treat alot of people like shit even if they do work hard (such as disregarding customs and courtesys) |

If by "troll feeding" you are refering to factual entertaining debate I can see why its popular, I pose a difficult question and some people like the challenge of an intellectual question/debate especially ones with profound implications like the question I have posed. Being forced to stay in the military can have significant effects on ones life. Some on here just want to write it off becasue its too hard for them to answer other than to say well you signed so there, there are alot of negitive implications with forcing people to do things they dont want to do regardless of a piece of paper.
