Hello all. I served Active Duty Air Force for my years and when they were done I left active duty and entered the ACTIVE Reserves as a traditional reservist so that I would still be active in the military. I now would like to rejoin and go back on Active Duty Status but seem to be getting the run around from many people (which the air force is great at doing). Does anyone know how to perform this or have any advice on what the steps to take are? If so it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

See Active Duty discussion where I gave you response....But I will mention one other thing here. Is there any "reason" they may be giving you the run around? I.e. Age? Previous "not too flattering" evaluations or anything like that? If that's the case, then going to another recruiter might not be the answer. Just throwing that out there to make sure the recruiter is not somehow "justified" not working with you. Try to find out if there is something in your background or with your current situation that may be giving you a problem.
