Does anyone know if they test your urine for drugs as soon as u take the test or if it gets sent to a lab? People told me that if it came up positive they'd know right then others told me they send it away.

If this is a problem for you then get clean and stay that way. Being on drugs could get someone killed and not just you.

This isnt a problem for me. Right before i left for meps i was in the presence of some weed smoking maniacs. I want to know if getting that second hand will come up in the test. I mainly want to know if they send that away or if they know right away if u smoked cause they didnt say anything to me hte day of the piss test.

From what I know of drug tests, it generally takes a few days because of lab time. If you should come up positive, then ask for a retest because these things happen and sometimes mistakes are made. I might stay away from your smoking friends.

Well i got it done on wednesday. I signed for the national guard and am going cavalry. I realy hope all goes well.

MEPS will test you for drugs. I will not tell you which ones, because you shouldn't even think about being around them. Second-hand smoke won't make you test positive, provided you aren't hot-boxing a small car/room with your stoner buddies.

Best of Luck in the Cavalry. First and foremost, the Cavalry is not easy, and I know almost every single Drill Sergeant and Cadre at Fort Knox. Learn and listen intently. Cav Scouts fight and win wars, you must be able to think and speak clearly in intense situations. During training, if you don't understand, ask the cadre. If you don't understand because you didn't listen, ask your buddy later. Ask your Drills to pound these two things into your heads, MORRGD and OCOKA. They will be invaluable tools, and they keep you alive in red direct contact.

anyway i wanted the army since i was a little shit. I wanted to go 21b but they told me i'd have to ship to boot the day i walk, so i droped it and went cav. Is there a way to getinto the air cav for the national guard? Also, how's Knox in the summer?

The resuslts came back and i failed. I didnt smoke pot but now im pushed back 45 days till i can go to meps again. Can i fight this? I wanted them to do a retest immediatly but i got no response. What effects are their for this?

They won't retest you because weed stays in your system for approx. 30 days after you used it. So that is why the 45 day wait.

Whats the point in fighting? Your lucky the military lets you take a restest. Just wait it out and stay away from smoking or being around others that are smoking.

nick knox is nice in the summer. i live about an hour away from it and go to a shooting range there. acually it doesnt get that hot in kentucky

let me get this straight.....you were in a room or location where yer buddies were doing some serious pot smoking, and you claim to have not partaken when it was passed around? And on top of that you popped positive on a piss test?

If I remember correctly, those involved in that sort activity would never allow anyone in thier presence to pass the bong, pipe, or joint without that person taking a toke (and actually inhaling deeply!) Failure to do so was a strong indication that that person was involved with law enforcement. Paranoidal tendencies and all that come into play at that point. What you have described in your opening statement doesn't sound right to me.

you might be thinking about crack smoke, the stoners i hang out iwth dont pressure me. My buddies have known me since elementary school and no one is mistaking me for a narc or a cop. I had my fair share of alcohol that night and didn't need any weed. Unless someone played a joke and rolled weed in with a cigarette and gave it to me i didnt smoke that night.

if you really wanted to join i dont think hanging around with stoners and drinking and smoke is a good idea, even if your not smoking weed
