Hey. I am a freshman girl going into highschool and i have been thinking of joining the military once i get out of college for years. I was wondering what the military was like for women that have been in the service. What experiences they went through and if they thought it was worth joining.

Each have thier own good and bad experiences. There are plenty of opportunities within the military, but there are also pitfalls that can trip one up pretty bad.

Get through college and get the degree, then think about what direction you want your life to take. The military will still be there for consideration.

Ok. That sounds good. But what kind of pitfalls are you talking about. Just curious.

Choosing the wrong field, falling in with the wrong crowd, getting stuck on stupid. You know, the normal stuff. There is also sexual harrassment. The military does a lot to educate and train against that sort of thing, but it's still gonna be there, no matter how many classes everyone has to take.
