I'm no soldier, and don't have much knowledge about the military or any specific branch, but i know a guy in demolitions who's in the marines, and I'm assuming that their snipers are some of the best. HRT guys are awesome. Waco, and Ruby ridge were back when it wasn't at it's best.

Becoming a scout/sniper, from what I've read, can be one of the toughest type of of soldier to become. I am also thinking of volunteering for the job. Hell, I'm only 15, what do I know!
