What im trying to say is I wanna be a sniper ....
(I'll make it simple...)

If I wanted to be a sniper what would you guys opinion be on what service to get into for that ?

And what service (Branch) if any would provide a skill of demolition?

Just answer that for me and I will research the rest :P Thank you

ok, keeping with 'simple' in mind:
You have 2 choices a) the Army or b) the Marines.

Both can provide what you are looking for 'IF' you qualify.

You can also search the forums here for sniper info. Ever since that damn movie came out, everyone wants to be a sniper--

http://military-forums.net/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/6771064/m...081091751#2081091751

And, for civilian jobs, there are uses for a sniper, though limited. SWAT, FBI HRT, etc.

Sorry I am one of less knowledge, but may I ask whats HRT ?

And I have been shooting a gun long before I could understand a sniper movie. Been hunting in Alabama every year since I was 9. First gun was a Marlin semi-auto ... I think it held 22-23 bullets in a tube under the barrel. I forget how many bullets it held but it was around that (sorry to jump off topic)

Actually, the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and yes the Air Force flies jets. All but the Army will be soon flying the Joint Strike Fighter F-35A/B/C.

The Army really does fly jets...however, they are not fighterjets. C-20, C35. (Army versions of a Learjet type)Army fixed-wing

I was mainly responding to this new guy cyclone's assertion that one has to go Air Force to fly jets when they get out.

yeah, when I was in Palmdale two weeks ago, I was on the flightline and was having a chat with one of the test pilots on the Marine version. Its an amazing aircraft, particularly with three varients on the same airframe.

I read that I wonder why is their Military Budget so low that they could only order one type for all.
