im having trouble figuring out my path. Im not sure what i should do. one idea is to get a lacrosse or football sholarship to westpoint. Or i was thinking about going to another college and just taking ROTC. Or i can take college while in the military. My main focus is to get into westpoint thinking it will help me raise in the rankings so i can be a leader one day. But westpoint is army so does that matter if im going to join the marines(focusing on Combat). My goal is to lead a team some day. But im confused. Im not sure if im going to be a lifer but i know ill be in the military fir awhile.And im 100% sure about that. Because i can never get it out of my head. were any of you like this when u were young? When i was seven i had a fake uniform that almost real. Came with a canteen metal toy gun and even a helmet. And i would just walk through the woods listening to the clatter of equipment. And for some reason i would never pretend to be attacked. what i also think is cool is that i was born on june 6,92. And i figured out when i was 11 what happened on june 6 and began studing all about world war two. Then at age 12 i figured my moms grandfather was a in the military to and ran a basic training camp. And my fathers dad was in the military too and everyone before him. My dad was given an offered to be an engineer in the army but denied so my father broke the chain lol. O and i wasnt raised strict at all. And i didnt decide to join the army because of what i learned. I was just born with it i guess lol. And now im having trouble deciding my path.

If you want to join the Marines you need to go to the Naval Academy or any other school that trains Marine officers.

If you want to play football at a school like Navy then you have to train extremely hard..listen to your coaches and never slack off, not even for one play. Or you will regret it when your a senior.

and remember, if you dont get into the school you want its no the end of the world. You can still be an officer and still be a Marine.

Finish highschool with 4.0 gpa first. then with that under your belt, apply for university that has ROTC, if you are still of a military mindset. Or go down and talk to a recruiter to gain some good information. Explain that you want to be a Marine Corps Officer and be a leader of men.
