I'm interested in becoming a navy pilot... The fighters specifically as I live in Va Beach and watch them all day.
I'm 23 years old, and have an associates in science with a focus in architectural drafting. By the time I got my bachelors to be an officer I'd probably be 26. That seems a bit old for a fighter pilot. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of thing? Also... as far as the education goes... Would I enlist in like an rotc? or... should I get a degree in business or something and then join? Do I just enlist in the navy and go to school while being paid to be in the navy and they tell me what to take? I'm kind of lost in the jungles of information out there so if anyone could clarify some stuff for me that'd be awesome. Thanks guys!! |

A few things to ad, they prefer engineering or hard science BS degrees (electircal engineering, aerospace engineering, physics etc) and a pilots licence. They say 28 but you should be 26 or 27 to be competitive.
