hey guyz .. i need some help .. i want to join the US army but i`m not an US citizen ... i talked to a recruiter and she told me that i need a sponsor to get a visa ... there must be another way .. can you please explain me all the options ? thanks

If you are a legal permanent legal resident then you can join with your Green Card. But if you are here illegaly, then you can't. I know cause I'm only a resident.

Getting a sponser is way too hard, currently the only way that can happen is if you get married to a U.S. citizen. There might be a way but because of terrorist it might be hard, keep talking to other recuirters and see what you might be able to do. Remember, "The worst fight, is the fight not fought", pretty much it translates to "You got nothing too lose". Good luck and let me know how it goes!

go to the u.s state department website or call them and see what they now they might transfer you around a bit but stick with and you should get an answer the website might have info as well you should be able to get citzenship quicker if you join the military as well. Another option is move to australia or britian become a citizen wich takes two years less if you go to the military there and then the transfer is easy if you have prior service in australia it shouldnt be a problem to get a g card to the u.s. you could try a visa and ask to obtain a g card before it expires or request the military with your visa but dont come illegal cause they have gotten very serious on if they find out your an alien they will deport you good luck
