I dont view myself as dishonorable or a quiter, I simply got myself out of a crumy situation nothing more. You like others on here, like to try to attach quiting the military with being a quiter in general or a poor performer in other aspects of life, if thats what you have to tell your self to sleep at night because you needlessly endured pointless harrasment then I guess thats your form of self therepy. If you have read through the posts you would know im a colorado school of mines graduate in chemical engineering on my way to become a PE (professional engineer) for the oil industry, if you cant recognize the significance of thoes acoplishments (that are unrelated to military service) then I question if you are even really an engineer

I liked to drink alot in school and I was in a frat, we got drunk and did fun/stupid things but I was always treated like an adult and my time was never micromanaged by others, I was never treated like a 3 yr old or hazed (verbal abuse, sleep deprivation, etc as I was in basic and at guard drills)

No honor, ethics, or moral fiber. You will never be able to see the truth because of your obvious mental problems. We only counter your blithering because we do not want anyone reading in this forum to think that your thoughts are tolerated. Hell boy, you will never be equal here and are intellectually void enough to not understand the point.

Which do you want, a chocolate chip or an oreo? Wow! You were in a frat? And you liked to drink? You sound like a zitty faced teenage virgin..... You weren't in a frat and you probably have a low tolerance for alcohol. Hows that "magic the gathering" card collection coming there? |

Sammy:
of course, re-punzel was in a fraternity.. He joined the Eta Bita Pi on campus but quit after a week when he was told that to complete his training he'd have to shove a cucumber up his butt and sing the Star Spangled Banner backwards in a girly voice.. He suffered PTSD and sued over harrassment and hazing and fled to the military to avoid the experience... Float like a Lepidoptera, Sting like a Hymenoptera |

Hmmmm, so I see that you haven't yet attained the accomplishment of being a professional engineer yet. Funny, by your previous postings, you laid claim to already attaining that title. Your comparison of your experiences in a fraternity and the military are juvenile at best. Frats are for boyz on thier way to becoming men who haven't yet made it that far in life. SSBN657 ....yeah I have. Here in Yuma at the SNCO club, everytime a bottle gets polished off, the dregs are poured into a single huge pickle jug. At the bottom of this pickle jug is a rattlesnake. We called this concoction 'snake juice'! At the start of every SNCO meeting, each of us was required to down a shot. During the meeting if any of our names were brought up in the meeting by the Sgt Major, another shot would follow. The Sgt Major sometimes had a mean streak depending on how many times during the week you were engaged by him....needless to say, certain individuals drank loads of snake juice during the course of the meeting. I developed enough of a taste for snake juice that I would intentionally seek out the Sgt Major during the week to ensure I got multiple snake bites on Friday....he soon caught on as he paid for each shot he gave out. After that he changed the way we had to drink it. He added flames to it. Had to hand it to the Sgt Major, that asshole knew how to hold a good meeting! I'm sure gunny is going to lose sleep over that comment rppearso....
Besides, I'm pretty sure when gunny wakes up in the morning and looks in the mirror, he's already having a good day, because you aren't looking back at him. |

I never laid claim to it but there is no question that I will be a PE when I have 2 more years time in.

I like to use my way to becoming a PE to shed light on the notion that if you have an unfavorable discharge or are AWOL is does not mean you will be a bum or unsuccesful like the military likes you to believe.
There was a guy at my work who is working towards his mechanical PE who graduated from west point and was a commander before he got out and we were talking about unfavorable discharges and AWOL and he recited the same jargon even though I was sitting next to him in the truck with roughly the same status in the company and im 10 yrs younger. Its like once they have these notions programmed into you, military or ex military members will recit it regardless of reality or logic. I cant believe he told me it would significantly affect my success in life as I was sitting next to him as an engineer with the same time left to get my PE at a way younger age. |

Since you have no logic and could not recognize reality if it hit you up side the head, your comments are worthless. What a propeller head.

At least every other morning, as I have the wife on a schedule for a morning bj! She lost a bet and I'm holding her to it. BJ an coffee, what a way to start the day. Hmmm, didn't know the Army Officer Corps had adopted Navy ranks..... This message has been edited. lmfao, yeah, every recruit will be asking themselves the question of why they are even there.... Hell, I'M going to be asking that question, even though I want to be a part of the USMC, I know that question will pop into my head at some time or another.

i'm new to this site but after reading all of these post i now have a new profound understanding of how ignorant someone can be. at times it has caused my blood to boil and yet i can't help but laugh at rrpearso. as for everyone else who did or still are serving in our armed forces it makes me proud to be counted among you. i know there will always be inter service rivalry but to see that we can all stand together in the face of such ignorance that has been displayed by rrpearso shows we will always be brothers fighting to keep our nation and way of life safe. btw rrpearso hasn't made a post in 10 days is he still out there or has he been taken in?
